I am a qualified and duly certificated Notary and qualified Solicitor, offering notarial and legal services in Mid Wales and the Borders. I am based in Montgomery, Powys, and can visit clients throughout the area, including Newtown, Welshpool and Shrewsbury.
As a Notary, I can undertake any of the functions usually classed as notarial work, and most typically I am asked to authenticate, attest and certify - for both individuals and companies - documents that are to be used abroad. Many documents that are to be used abroad require certification and different countries have differing procedures and requirements for this.
You are likely to need the services of a Notary if you are buying or selling property abroad, getting married abroad or doing business abroad (especially if you are authorising someone else to act for you in the foreign country e.g. by granting Power of Attorney to them).
I have been qualified as a Solicitor for many years, though do not now practise as such. As a Notary I am able to offer many of the services of a lawyer. My legal services include conveyancing and property services, the preparation of wills and trusts, probate and the administration of estates, both in my local area in Powys, Mid Wales and the Borders, and throughout England and Wales.
I pride myself in offering a high standard of service to all my clients with a level of availability and attention to detail that is rarely offered 'on the high street'.
